Wed 2nd June 2010 at 9.00 am – 12.00 pm Study Tours

Käpytikka House (Fully booked!)
The Käpytikka House is a home of young persons with learning disabilities. The flats are 48 square-meter apartments with easy access. In 2003 a ring of parents joined forces and started a project with a goal to build an apartment building for their children soon to be adults. Construction of the building was completed in 2009. The Functional Home
The Functional Home run by the Social Services Department of the City of Helsinki, presents solutions designed to help people maintain an independent lifestyle in their own homes. Read More at Functional Home web page.

Max. Attendance: 30 participants per study tour (in order of registration)

Transportation
There is a coach transportation on study tours. Coaches leave in front of the main entrance of the Hotel Scandic Continental (Scandic Continental, Mannerheimintie 46, Helsinki) at 8:30 am, and return to the Scandic Continental at 12.00.
